T-Body Promotions has been in the Hampton Roads area printing t-shirts, and other apparel since 1967. That's longer than any company in the State of Virginia. We are very proud of being the oldest t-shirt printing company in the state, and work very hard to earn our client's continued business. As time passed we have added signs, banners, vehicle graphics / lettering, store front lettering, decals, and stickers to our offerings. All of these we do in-house which allows us to do them quickly. Later we added other promotional products to our offerings. These items, we rep for their manufacturers. These items include thousands of possible offerings. The most popular of these include imprinted coffee mugs/glassware, pens, key chains, neck straps, stuffed animals, spirit items for schools, etc.

Over the years we have seen many companies come and go in our industry. You know, the ones who only care about a quick dollar, and not about their client. It seems like sincere customer service is getting to be a lost art. Treating people with respect, doing what you promise, doing great work, and delivering on time, it has to be a commitment. Fortunately our commitment usually far exceeds our clients expectations, and therefore has kept our company in business for over 44 years (since 1967). During these many years we have regularly updated our printing and screen making equipment. Today our shop has the latest in modern equipment enabling us to provide you with the highest quality work on both small and large orders. We take alot of pride in what we do, and it shows. Whether our clients want a simple one color print or a highly complex multi-color print, we are poised and ready to go. Many people are literally amazed as to how detailed the printing on a t-shirt can be. If it can be printed on a t-shirt, we are confident that we can do it.

Our printers are experienced and creative pros. They participate in continuing education and R&D to stay on top of new printing techniques and effects. More importantly they have a commitment to give you the best quality work our clients have to come to expect. We enjoy what we do, and it shows.

Our manager, Jim Shaheen, was asked if after all the years he has been printing t-shirts if he still enjoyed it, he answered:: "Great question! Absolutely. If I didn't, I wouldn't still be doing it. There's something magical about it. Alot of creativity goes into it. It's definitely an art rather than a science, a great form of expression. Are there times that are trying? Sure. Sometimes, things like meeting an impossible deadline, or a screen ripping in the middle of a large run of a last minute rush order is tough, but you have got to come through for the client. Hopefully the client will remember, that you went out of your way to get him/her out of a pinch. I've done this more times than you could imagine. There are always hiccups in any business, in life, and you have to know that, anticipate it in fact. It's how you address those hiccups that counts. Be positive....

If you are a large company, organization, etc. it shows that we have a track record of working for large companies, providing the quality that they demand, and able to produce the large volumes that they require, as well as meeting the tight deadlines that seem to be norm most of the time.

Plus, you have the confidence that the same quality that goes into our large orders, also goes into every order that we do, large or small.
We have to use the highest quality inks and supplies for our large orders. We feel that it is better to spend more up front for quality ink, supplies, and equipment to get the job done right. That's less expensive than to have an order of 50,000 or more t-shirts returned by a large client because the ink on their t-shirt order washed off. We use the same quality inks, supplies, etc. for both our large and small orders. Many small printers don't have our resources, or experience, and try to cut costs by not using the same quality ink and supplies as we do, nor have the modern automated equipment necessary to produce high quality printing. If it costs the same, why not use the best company for your next order?

What we feel is different about our screen printing than that of other local companies?: Just like anything else, there are different qualities of what you can buy. Things that go on behind the scenes that you don't see: We use the best equipment, best inks, best emulsions, best screens, best staff, upmost care in producing your order, etc. These are the things that we go the extra mile for our clients that many printers won't spend the extra time or money to do. It's no accident that our prints are clean and crisp, the ink does not wash out of our printed shirts, or that the images are bold and bright as they should be. We won't skrimp on these things which are so important to producing the best quality work in our area.
